What is up with Zombies?

Hey all,

Emon posted this query in the comments section:

So what happens now? I mean, my Moly is basically full now, which is wonderful. Does that mean I need to look for a new zombie exchange to get a fresh start with?

Is everyone bored with the Undead?
Is this a group that won't die?....we just keep cycling fresh meat (I mean books) through?

What happens when we push the ideas even further?
Do we end up with a movie deal?

What do y'all feel?

  1. Maybe it's just the abundance of Zombie media around (jane austen books, movies, upcoming tv series) but I'm a wee bit over zombied myself.
One of a couple reasons I've been stalled on the moly I've got in hand right now (sorry!)
Try other stuff? Branch slightly into horror variants?
OR whatever. If you all want more steamy zombie action, there are many ways to spin it ;p

  2. Possibly because I'm on a Sanctuary, Torchwood, and Proof (comic book) kick right now; I would enjoy expanding into a broader range of creatures, monsters, spooks, myths, and all the rest.

  4. I am totally willing to let the undead wander off - unchecked.

I do enjoy this group and would be interested to see what else we come up with....broad ranging scary stuff sounds good to me.

Sounds like Nightmare and I are both up for keeping a semblance of the group together.

Not sure if when Emon and Marty said they "wanted to do other topics" meant they wanted to break-up or if they are still down with the "61_crew"

  6. 61_crew_forever!!

Monsters and horror would be fine. I'm ready to move on from the living dead.

Hey! Is anyone interested in a "Jonas Brothers", or "Young Stars of Nickelodeon" exchange.

  9. When I get my zombie book back, I will start a new book of horrors. We should do a new banner with a new title (?):

    The Screamerie

    Bumps in the Night

    QuasiModo&Modo (Modo&Modo ressurected Moleskine brand)

    Frankenmoly

    Date Night

  10. Great suggestions, esp. Date Night for it's seemingly benign standing, and like the play on thie Modo & Modo brand.

Let me twist my brain on this a bit, see what leaks out. Look forward to hearing others suggestions as well!

all appeal to me because of the beauty of their simplicity,
